P047B is a generic powertrain code meaning the engine control module has judged the signal from exhaust pressure sensor "B" to be implausible: present, but outside the range or behaviour the calibration expects. Exhaust pressure sensors, often called exhaust back pressure sensors, tell the ECU how much pressure exists in the exhaust. That reading is used for turbocharger control on engines with variable geometry turbos, for exhaust brake and EGR strategies, and on many diesels as part of judging how loaded the particulate filter is.

Range and performance is a rationality check rather than a simple open or short test.
